The EU-ASEAN Business Network with its regional partners EU-Indonesia Business Network (EIBN), EU-Philippines Business Network (EPBN), and EuroCham Myanmar conducted a seminar with theme “Opportunities for Slovenian Enterprises in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Myanmar” in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

The event was jointly organized in cooperation with Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (CCIS) on February 15th, 2017, to present to Slovenian companies the market opportunities in Indonesia, Philippines, and Myanmar.

The aim of this event was to give an overview regarding business opportunities in Indonesia, Philippines, and Myanmar to Slovenian SME’s and how to enter into these markets through services provide by EIBN, EPBN, and Eurocham Myanmar.

During the information and B2B sessions directed to local SMEs, EIBN presented market information and entry strategies on how to enter and to succeed in the Indonesian market. Additionally, the representative of Indonesia Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Muhammas Anshor, Director-General for American and European Affairs, introduced the Indonesia aswell.

EIBN successfully conducted individual business consultations with several Slovenia companies, giving the opportunity to consult and meet with EIBN’s market expert, to learn more about Indonesia's growth and its market potential.
