Medlab Asia Pacific is a 3 day event being held from March 29th to 31st, 2017 at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore. This event showcases product from Ayurvedic & Herbal, Medical & Pharmaceutical, Research & Development, Scientific Instruments industries.

As a part EIBN Outreach activities in Southeast Asia, the team was in Medlab Asia Pacific in order to give an overview about Indonesia’s market potential, as well as to introduce EIBN’s services as one of the focal point for assisting European companies interested in entering Indonesia market, particularly medical devices sector.

Indonesia’s medical devices market is a promising industry with many valuable opportunities for European companies, as 97% of device registrations in 2015 belonged to foreign manufacturers. This is grounded in strong annual growth rates, changing demographics and consumption patterns, the implementation of the National Health Insurance System, and a lack of domestic suppliers.

In addition, the team successfully engaged in B2B meeting and general networking with European exhibitors to introduce Indonesia’s medical devices sector and its potential to European companies. During the event, the team is also introduced EIBN upcoming trade mission, European Healthcare Pavillion, which will be held during Hospital Expo 2017
