During November 2017, the EIBN Outreach team visited Netherlands, Germany, and Estonia  as a part of EIBN’s EU Outreach activities in Europe. The team participated in Europort on 8 November, and Medica on November 14-15. In Estonia, EIBN took part in the EEN Annual Conference to meet with Europe based EEN partners.

Europort, organised in the world port city of Rotterdam, is the international maritime meeting place for innovative technology and complex shipbuilding. Europort has a strong focus on special purpose ships including offshore vessels, dredging vessels, construction vessels, naval vessels, workboats, inland vessels, fishery vessels and super yachts. With almost 30,000 professional visitors and 1,100 exhibiting companies Europort belongs to the world’s leading maritime meeting places.

MEDICA is the world’s largest event for the medical sector. The event was held from November 12-15, 2017 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The team visited these big fairs in order to give an overview about Indonesia’s market potential, as well as to introduce EIBN’s services as one of the focal point for assisting European companies interested in entering Indonesia market, particularly in maritime and medical equipment sector.

Furthermore, the team successfully engaged in B2B meeting and general networking with European exhibitors to introduce Indonesia’s maritime and healthcare and its potential to European companies. During the event, the team also introduced EIBN upcoming trade mission in 2018 Healthcare sector which will be held from April 23-25, 2018.
